Restaurant Supervisor

Job Summary:
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Arrange and assign serving sections prior to start of service
- Assign opening, side and closing duties, ensuring completion in a reasonable amount of time and to standard.
- Actively monitor for service delays and address and expedite needed
- Make table rounds, ensuring members are satisfied with their experience.
- Ensure that all staff complete all their closing tasks prior to finishing shift or leaving early due to declined service demand.
- Assist with training of new team members, evaluating performance and making recommendations for next steps
- Assist with table, bar and station service, when required
- Work in accordance with the Club’s Health and Safety guidelines
Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications:
- Smart Serve certification required
- College or University education in Hospitality preferred
- Experience from a Private Club, Hotel or Restaurant setting
- Customer service experience. Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Organizational skills
- First aid, CPR, and use of AED an asset
- Proficient with POS, Jonas and Jonas Activity Management an asset
- Available to work early mornings, nights, weekends statutory holidays
**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 6-7 months
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
Additional pay:
- Bonus pay
