**MRT** is currently looking for a day time **(starting at 4AM)** **Dock Worker** to join our team at Sudbury terminal.

**General Responsibilities**:
Start at 4:00 AM (8-10 hour shift)

Responsible for unloading freight from incoming trailers. Stage orders on dock to meet shipping deadlines.

Count and sort product, record any shortages, damages, overages on the pick-up/linehaul manifest, and report any discrepancy to the Terminal Manager.

Plan the outgoing merchandise according to the cubing and weight distribution.

Coordinate and prioritize terminal activities, dock operations with city and switch drivers

Load or assist in loading appropriate freight onto delivery trucks and trailers, ensure proper pallet placement and secure loads. Ensure the appropriate bills are with the skid.

Re-planning and coordination of deliveries according to priorities given by the Terminal Manager.

Local pick up and deliveries as required.

**Requirements**:
Minimum 1 year experience as a forklift operator;
Experience in a transportation company ( asset)

Ability to work efficiently and quickly to meet the daily requirements of LTL Transportation

Logical and analytical mind

Computer skills, reporting and data entry

Good understanding of mix freight loading and unloading with attention to safety procedures.

AZ Licence (asset)

Bilingual (French and English - asset)
