**Role Description**:
The Business Analyst - Microsoft Modern Desktop, will leverage their experience, capabilities, and knowledge to support all project activities to successfully realize project goals. Work collaboratively and in partnership with the Microsoft Modern Desktop project team, the DMST Leaders, Desktop Application & Technologies, & Technology Refresh (TRP), Planning & Delivery (including Business and Clinical Readiness, change and communications, project controls & governance) Leads/teams, as well as other key stakeholders (IMITS Tech Services, business/clinical representatives, site sponsors, NTT Data, Health Authority (HA) organizations - VCH, PHC, etc.) in respect to activities listed below.

**Responsibilities**:

- The following will be done in collaboration with the Clinical Informatics Advisor, Applications team BI/Reporting Analyst, Licensing Manager (as required), plus key DMST team members.
- Completion of assigned detailed assessments (various) to inform licensing requirements, as well as strategy development, planning, and rollout of Office 365 and Windows 11, with a focus on Windows 365 Cloud PC Enablement and Citrix Cloud Services (i.e., Thin Client expansion).
- Co-facilitate requirements gathering and engagement sessions with clinical and business stakeholders to extract requirements (e.g., shared devices, client vs. web outlook usage, existing versions of Office Applications, shared device - including who currently uses Webmail vs Client); document as required.
- Develop current state documentation, design documents, requirements analysis, use cases, process flows, procedures, and policies.
- Translate user clinical/business requirements into technical requirements for the technical solutioning teams (as required).
- Provide support and insight/recommendations re: the design, development & implementation of an Office 365 deployment strategy, approach, and plan, and framework to Windows 11/365 (SaaS) and/or Citrix Cloud Services (i.e., Thin Client).
- Contribute “as required” to the completion of an Access Database Management strategy to be leveraged to inform/align with and support the migration of: Office 365, future OS upgrades, and Citrix Cloud Services re: Thin Client Expansion.
- Support the Project with many aspects of project delivery including planning, risk management, deliverables, communication, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
- Draft reports, briefing notes, and other supporting documentation for clinical management and project governance (i.e. readiness and/or sustainment).
- Perform other role-related duties and project activities as directed.
- Contribute to business/clinical engagement, DMST governance, Project Delivery Steering Committee (PDSC), and status meetings.
- Provide/contribute project status updates, address actions, and support/contribute to issues/risk management activities and escalations/resolutions.
- Support delivery/completion of core activities (e.g. strategy, planning, schedule, reporting, and risk/issues) to ensure DMST and the project’s ability to meet required timelines and deliverables
- Work cross-functionally to solve problems and implement changes.
- Work in collaboration with the DMST sustainment team to integrate and align planning, solutions, and readiness activities.
- Other BA duties as required.
- Completion of core assessments (e.g., current state, feasibility, etc.) and requirements gathering outcomes (to be completed within project schedule timelines/plans).
- Creation of all supporting documentation, diagrams, workflows (i.e. swim lanes, etc.), processes, procedures, etc. to support the project; as well as handover/transition to steady-state operations (e.g., DMST, IMITS, etc.) and to support future state requirements.
- Use and/or Test cases, etc. to support Office 365, Windows 11/365 SaaS, and VDI Thin Client expansion, solutions, and deployment planning.
- Identify, collect, document, and analyze Microsoft Office usage requirements within the environment today (outcomes of engagement, analysis, etc.).
- Updated Service Desk support processes to align with the future state support model; ensuring NTT and any other vendor service provider clarity, accountabilities, etc.
- An Office 365 Deployment Approach and Scheduling Framework including “how” Office updates are to be rolled out across the HAs, in what sequence, and with what oversight.
- Contribute to the completion of the Office 365, Windows 11/365 SaaS, and Citrix Cloud Strategy document(s), detailing its applicability within the environment from a technical, financial, and user experience stand-point.
- Materials needed to support Business Case and Briefing Notes to obtain any/all additional funding
