We are looking for a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The Truck Driver will be responsible for offloading, loading and transporting goods safely and efficiently to various destinations. This role requires adherence to all traffic laws, safety standards, and company policies to ensure timely and secure delivery of products.

**Responsibilities**:
Operate and drive trucks to transport goods to and from specified destinations.

Load and unload cargo, ensuring it is properly secured to prevent damage during transit.

Comply with applicable legislation, including safe operation, carriage of goods, occupational health and safety, transportation of dangerous goods, and weights and dimensions.

Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles.

Perform pre-trip, in route, and post-trip inspections on vehicle and load, ensuring safety and roadworthiness (circle checks, delivery ticket information etc.)

Maintain contact with Supervisors in accordance with daily travel plan.

Maintain appearance and equipment including refueling vehicles as required.

Complete all necessary paperwork at the end of the shift, including daily logs, inspection logs, delivery receipts, vehicle inspection, following applicable provincial and federal regulations.

Check all load-related documentation to ensure that it is complete and accurate.

Provide feedback to management regarding customer, mechanical or delivery problems.

Clean and make minor repairs to vehicle to maintain appropriate service levels.

Assist with production duties around the plant (when not driving.)

Drive in a safe, courteous, and defensive manner when operating company vehicles.

Portray a positive and professional image to the public, co-workers, and our corporate partners.

**Position Requirements**:
Required to drive a single axel ,24 ft flat bed (automatic)

Required to drive a box truck (manual transmission / standard)

Able to work 5 days a week some overtime required.

Must have a clean driving record

Must have a valid G license

Should have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Experience operating a forklift with a valid forklift licence
