**About the job**
As a Localization Project Manager in Digital Games at Wizards of the Coast, you will lead all aspects of localization for our Digital Games portfolio: from video games to packaging components, and metadata localization. This role involves close coordination with external vendors, budget management, and QA oversight. You will be responsible for resolving localization issues and proposing process optimizations, ensuring our products meet world-class standards. Your passion for delivering outstanding quality will help elevate Hasbro and Wizards products for gamers and consumers worldwide.
**What you’ll do**
- Coordinate the adaptation of source language (English) to all other supported languages, ensuring flawless execution.
- Establish and manage project parameters, working with Studios and Production to determine or adjust instructions and priorities.
- Facilitate localization QA testing with external vendors, ensuring highest level quality is at the forefront of our considerations.
- Manage the localization voice-over recording process, coordinating with talent and studios.
- Coordinate budget management for all localization activities including translation, voice recording, and QA.
- Build and maintain glossaries and translation memory tools to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Develop methodologies to improve efficiency and improve team collaboration.
- Work closely with production and development partners to offer advice on standard processes for achieving project goals and timelines.
- Monitor external localization and QA vendors' progress, ensuring quality and schedule targets are strictly met.
- Provide regular project status reports to collaborators, highlighting any potential issues and solutions.
- Perform routine quality checks prior to text implementation, addressing any issues promptly.
- Propose and implement process improvements to optimize tools and systems.
- Assist with global age ratings by facilitating text delivery and locating pertinent content.
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with vendors worldwide.
- Stay up to date with standard processes, tools, and methodologies in the industry.
- Complete special projects as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
**What you bring**
- Proven ability to multitask and keep multiple projects' localization efforts on schedule.
- Outstanding coordination skills with multiple teams to manage large, complex projects.
- Strong understanding of complex features and project schedules.
- Ability to analyze risks and determine potential solutions to mitigate them.
- Evidence of advocating for improved quality through standard processes.
- Outstanding problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to maintain a consistently calm, professional manner even under pressure.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of localization project management experience in the video games industry.
- Experience with common video game file formats.
- Experience working at a video game publisher.
- Excellent communications skills in French and English
