Responsabilités principales (liste non exhaustive) : 1.) Gérer les activités de développement de projet, incluant : Identification de sites et origination de projets Interconnexion Acquisition de terrains Évaluations environnementales Consultation et gestion des parties prenantes Supervision des relations avec les communautés autochtones et coordination des consultants Permis municipaux, régionaux, provinciaux et fédéraux Évaluation énergétique Conception technique du projet 2.) Gérer les activités quotidiennes de gestion de projet, incluant : Budgétisation et planification des projets Engagement et direction des ressources externes Rédaction de rapports et correspondances liés au développement et aux approbations de projets 3.) Assurer la liaison avec l'équipe d'exécution afin de garantir une transition réussie entre les phases de développement et de construction 4.) Identifier de nouvelles opportunités de croissance, incluant le développement de nouveaux sites (" greenfield ") et les acquisitions potentielles 5.) Définir les périmètres, objectifs et livrables des projets en collaboration avec la direction et les parties prenantes clés 6.) Soutenir l'équipe de développement dans d'autres tâches de projet selon les besoins Qualifications et expérience : Le candidat idéal pour ce poste possède : Diplôme universitaire ou équivalent - baccalauréat ou maîtrise en ingénierie privilégié, sciences de l'environnement ou discipline connexe Solides compétences en gestion de projet, hautement organisé et capable de prioriser et gérer plusieurs tâches avec précision et souci du détail Esprit analytique, sens de la résolution de problèmes, capacité à travailler de façon autonome ou en équipe, et à apprendre rapidement de nouveaux concepts/processus Excellentes compétences en Français écrit et oral. Compensation Ranges from $100,000 - $120,000 per year, plus bonus, based on relevant experience. This newly created role will play a key part in advancing renewable energy projects - wind, solar and battery storage - from early-stage development through handoff to the construction team. We are looking for a candidate with: 3-5 years of experience in the renewable energy sector in Québec Expertise in interconnection, land acquisition, environmental assessment, permitting, resource assessment, and renewable technologies French as a first language, with the ability to communicate clearly in English, both written and oral A strong understanding of local regulations and development practices. Key Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to: 1.) Manage project development activities, including: Site finding and project origination Interconnection Land acquisition Environmental assessments Stakeholder consultation and management Oversee Indigenous engagement and consultant coordination Local municipality, county, provincial, and federal permitting Energy assessment Project technical design 2.) Manage day-to-day project management activities, including: Project budgeting and scheduling Engaging and directing external resources. Support in writing reports and correspondence related to project development and approvals. 3.) Liaise with the project execution team to ensure successful interfaces between the development and construction phases. 4.) Identify new growth opportunities, including greenfield development and prospective acquisitions. 5.) Define project scopes, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and key stakeholders. 6.) Support the development team with other project tasks as required Qualifications and Experience: As the ideal candidate for this position, you will have the following: University degree or equivalent-bachelor's or master's in engineering preferred, environmental science or related undergraduate study. Strong project management skills, highly organized and able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with accuracy and strong attention to detail. Analytical, problem solver with the ability to work independently or in teams, and quickly learn new concepts/processes. Excellent written and verbal French skills. The French language is an asset. Proven ability to exercise good judgment in recognizing the scope of authority and protecting confidential information. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Ability to travel as required(estimated at up to20%).
