**Résumé du poste**
Un/Une réceptionniste d'hôtel accueille et assiste les clients tout au long de leur séjour. Il/Elle est responsable de l’expérience client à la réception : enregistrement, départ, réponses aux demandes, gestion des réservations et paiements. Ce poste nécessite une excellente présentation, un sens du service poussé et une capacité à travailler de façon autonome dans un environnement en constante évolution.
**Responsabilités principales** Accueil et relation client
- Accueillir les clients avec courtoisie et professionnalisme
- Effectuer l’enregistrement (check-in) et le départ (check-out) des clients
- Fournir des informations sur les services de l’hôtel, les attractions locales et les restaurants du quartier
- Répondre aux questions, demandes et plaintes des clients de façon proactive et avec diplomatie
- S’assurer que chaque interaction contribue à une expérience client positive
Réservations et administration
- Vérifier la disponibilité des chambres et optimiser le taux d’occupation
- Mettre à jour les profils clients et l’historique dans le système de gestion hôtelière (PMS)
- Gérer les clés, cartes d’accès et consignes de sécurité
- Maintenir un environnement propre et organisé au poste de réception et dans les zones communes
Gestion des paiements et facturation
- Effectuer les encaissements à l’arrivée ou au départ des clients au besoin
- Émettre, corriger et expliquer les factures
Coordination avec les autres départements
- Communiquer avec l’équipe d’entretien ménager pour garantir la propreté et la disponibilité des chambres
- Collaborer avec le service technique pour signaler les réparations ou incidents
- Travailler en collaboration avec les autres propriétés ou services si besoin
- Appuyer les équipes internes dans les audits qualité, inventaires, vérifications de chambres ou petits besoins opérationnels
**Profil recherché**
- **1 à 2 ans d’expérience** dans un rôle similaire (hôtellerie, restauration ou service à la clientèle)
- **Bilinguisme obligatoire : français et anglais (oral et écrit)**:
- Sens de l’organisation, rigueur, autonomie et esprit d’équipe
- Excellentes compétences interpersonnelles et de communication
- Maîtrise des outils informatiques et des logiciels de gestion hôtelière (un atout - formation offerte)
- Capacité à résoudre des situations rapidement, avec calme et efficacité
- Présentation soignée et attitude professionnelle
- Disponibilité pour travailler : jour, soir, fin de semaine, jours fériés

**Job Summary**
A hotel receptionist welcomes and supports guests throughout their stay. They are responsible for the front desk experience, including check-ins and check-outs, guest inquiries, reservations, and payments. This position requires a professional appearance, excellent service skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
**Main Responsibilities** Guest Relations
- Greet guests warmly and professionally
- Handle guest check-ins and check-outs
- Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and dining options
- Address questions, special requests, or complaints with empathy and proactive solutions
- Ensure each interaction enhances the guest experience
Reservations & Administration
- Monitor room availability and maximize occupancy
- Update guest profiles and booking details in the property management system (PMS)
- Manage keys and room access cards
- Keep the reception and shared areas clean and organized
Payments & Billing
- Process payments and guest charges
- Issue and explain invoices
Coordination with Other Departments
- Communicate with housekeeping to ensure room readiness
- Report technical issues to the maintenance team
- Collaborate with other properties or services as needed
- Assist with quality audits, room inspections, inventory, and light operational duties
**Requirements**:
- **1 to 2 years of experience** in hospitality, food service, or customer service
- **Fluency in both French and English (spoken and written)**:
- Organized, autonomous, and detail-oriented
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable with computers and hotel software (PMS experience is an asset - training provided)
- Able to stay calm and efficient under pressure
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Flexible availability: days, evenings, weekends, holidays
