**Summary**

We are currently looking for a Human Resources Manager on a 12-month term to join our growing team Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Human Resources Manager will be responsible for all aspects of HR, including recruitment efforts, new hire orientation and onboarding, employee termination, payroll and benefits, company policy and procedure adherence. In addition, you will build strong relationships with our company's managers in order to help them with their human resource needs.

**Responsibilities**
- Lead the talent acquisition process, including recruitment, onboarding, and training
- Perform new hire orientation and employee onboarding activities, including the completion of new hire paperwork
- Provide coaching and counseling to managers and employees on HR-related issues, including conflict resolution, performance improvement, and compliance
- Develop, implement and enforce HR policies and procedures where necessary to ensure compliance with local, provincial, and federal regulations
- Manage employee relations issues, including investigations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions
- Implement and maintain employee performance management programs, including goal setting, performance evaluations, career development and performance improvement plans
- Provide guidance and support on compensation and benefits programs, including salary structures, incentive plans, and employee benefits
- Accurately and efficiency process employee payroll, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and provide support to employees with payroll related inquiries
- Manage the employee benefits program, from enrollment to termination, and provide support to employees with benefits related inquiries
- Develop and deliver HR training programs to managers and employees
- Maintain HR metrics and analytics to measure the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives

**Requirements**:

- Post-secondary education (Degree, Doploma) in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field is required
- 5+ years' of experience working in a Human Resources role at the level of HR Generalist or higher
- 2+ years’ experience in a supervisory or managerial role in Human Resources is considered an asset
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and HRIS software

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
