Reporting to the Deli Department Manager, the Deli Department Specialist works with others in a fast paced, family-type atmosphere to provide professional, inviting service to customers and accurately package, label and merchandize deli products.

**What You Bring to Our Team**:

- Minimum two years of experience in retail, deli or kitchen
- A combination of experience and education
- Good food preparation and knife skills
- Flexible availability from 7:00 am until 7:30pm
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

- Provide courteous, friendly and efficient customer service
- Ensure a positive, friendly and supportive work environment
- Organize and ensure proper storage of inventory
- Answer telephone calls and receive orders
- Create, maintain and rotate product displays
- Assist in the production of deli items, while maintaining impeccable cleanliness
- Package, label, and stock deli counters and displays
- Maintain a safe and clean deli department by complying with company policies and procedures
- Follow and ensure government regulations, company policies and procedures
- Attend occasional staff meetings
- Other assigned duties as they may arise

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.60-$18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week

**Experience**:

- Deli : 1 year (preferred)
- Retail Customer Service: 1 year (preferred)

Work Location: In person
