- As the Senior Data Analyst, your role is to be the expert in master data structure, design, governance and use across the organization. You will be working on data migration projects that deal with legacy master data from our acquired companies (M&A) into OpenText systems, ensuring business requirements are met and business processes are aligned. The primary objects you would focus on include Vendor master and its multiple attributes, banking rules, P2P processes. You will need to understand the flow and impact of master data objects to downstream systems and other transactional objects. You should be able to work with cross functional business as well as IT teams and be able to share the data analysis across these teams.**What You Will Do**:
- Deep understanding the SAP ERP master data ecosystem, including the fields, tables, and types of transactions which use the master data.
- Understanding of data integrations, specifically how master data from SAP can impact downstream systems.
- Understanding the Procure to Pay (P2P) is a must-have.
- Experience with a Vendor Management System such as Ariba
- Knowledge of Orders to Cash (O2C) and Record to Report (R2R) business streams is an asset.
- Building and maintaining cross-functional relationships, including aligning opinions and approaches across disparate teams.
- Using Excel for advanced data manipulations and analysis.
- Assisting with designing business processes to be aligned to the master data
- Creating or contributing to SOPs for the operational team.
- Ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and completeness.
**What It Takes**:
- 8+ years working with SAP or a similar ERP for maintaining master data, OR, a combination of master data management/governance experience and experience within Procure to Pay (P2P), or Orders to Cash (O2C),Record to Report (R2R) business streams.
- Experience with data migrations and integrations
- Advanced Excel skills to perform data manipulations and analysis.
- Knowledge and experience with master data tools such as SAP MDG, Data Services, Information Steward;
- General understanding of project lifecycle & development
- Excellent collaboration skills
- Ensure adherence to change control process
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or a combination of education and equivalent experience
- 7+ years of providing data solutions in a similar setting.
- 10+ years IT experience
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills- Subject to applicable laws and regulations, OpenText’s global vaccination policy requires all employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to enter an OpenText office. Accommodations may be available for specific roles.
