**Sanimax Hamilton is looking for a Sales Support Specialist for the Ontario Procurement team.**
Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the Sales Support Technician is responsible to provide administrative support to the Ontario Procurement team.
**Job duties**:
- Creation of all new accounts in our ERP system for both the Ontario Sales Team and Customer Service Tier Three accounts
- Validate new account tickets from Customer Service
- Calculate annual volume of new accounts and decide line discount - price category, equipment and frequency choice of proper equipment the frequency.
- Fill in the mandatory fields in ERP system for new account (price group, line discount, chain, segment, subsegment)
- Ensure that all agreements are properly filled out and that all procedures regarding opening of accounts and all other related tasks are respected and followed.
- Provide basic training on the use of the system to new Procurement Representatives and assist Customer Service agents in the “Account Opening” process if required
- Provide analytical support to Procurement Team
- Provide additional Service Ticket support when needed((
- Create and Confirm Signing Bonuses
- Send signing bonus report (1x month) to the Sales Support Technician amalgamating the report
- Interaction with other departments in relation to customers account opening, price grps
- issues with Zendesk tickets etc.
- Sending P2P purchase orders to customers (Sales Support accountability) 1x week every Thursday)
- Provide occasional additional support for National Accounts
- Assist the Procurement team in the preparation of bid responses for RFPs
- Assist Procurement team with credit calculations when required
- Assist in preparing Volume Reports for customers when required
- Updating the budget sheet (occasionally)
- Managing Tradeshow materials for Ontario (bannerstand, bags, etc )
- Supporting the Procurement Team upon request
- Provide cross functional support for other Sales Support Technicians when they are ill or on vacation.
**Job requirements**:
- Limited travel required, less than 5%. (Occasional training and attendance at trade shows)
- This role is located at our facility in Hamilton and we will support occasional remote working
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with other departments and our customers.
- Possess working knowledge of administrative tasks.
- Must be knowledgeable of standard office software systems and be able to analyze data.
- Comfortable to follow all company policies and procedures.
- Ability to read, write, and understand the English language. Additionally, French would be an asset.
- Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing with Sanimax personnel, customers, vendors, suppliers, and other business-related contracts.
- Ability to work independently, set priorities, and determine work assignments and work methods.
- Ability to assist with special or ongoing projects as instructed by the Procurement Manager
- Ability to operate all necessary office equipment required to accomplish job duties, such as computers, telephones, fax machines, etc.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Ability to assist in other work-related areas as requested.
**Job qualifications**:
Experience: 2-5 years of experience in an administrative role, ideally as a sales administrator. Must have a valid driver’s license.
