Live-In Superintendent

We are looking for a dedicated and hands-on Live-In Superintendent to join the Patry Group of Companies. As a live-in team member, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operation of our residential property, ensuring the maintenance, security, and comfort of the building for our residents. **Responsibilities**:
- Resident Support: Serve as the main point of contact for residents, addressing maintenance concerns, providing assistance with building services, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Building Maintenance: Conduct daily inspections and routine maintenance of the building, including common areas and exterior grounds. Perform minor repairs, and coordinate with external contractors for major issues.
- Cleaning and Upkeep: Ensure that all common areas (e.g., lobbies, hallways, laundry rooms, and parking areas) are clean and well-maintained. Perform cleaning duties such as vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping when necessary.
- Security and Safety: Monitor the security of the property by controlling building access and ensuring the safety of residents. Respond promptly to emergencies, such as fire alarms or security incidents, and follow established protocols.
- On-Call Availability: Be available for after-hours emergency calls to respond to urgent maintenance issues or resident concerns.
- Administrative Tasks: Assist with record-keeping, including logging maintenance activities and incidents. Maintain accurate reports for management and ensure compliance with property regulations.
- Waste Management: Oversee garbage disposal and recycling programs, ensuring timely removal and cleanliness of designated areas.
- Tenant Relations: Build strong relationships with residents, fostering a sense of community and ensuring any concerns are resolved in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in property management, building maintenance, or a similar hands-on role.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general repair work.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide exceptional customer service.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to respond to emergencies and handle after-hours calls.
- Experience with residential building operations and security practices is an asset.
