**Green Works Contracting**is a multi-service and season landscaping and maintenance company in the nation’s capital focused on providing quality service. **We are currently seeking truck and trailer driver / F2690 sidewalk plow operator for the winter season**
- **Schedule**:

- This is a seasonal position from approximately **November 1, 2024 until April 15, 2025.** (Summer work available after the winter season.)
- Shifts are on an **on-call** basis and hours vary depending on the weather (8-16 hour shifts).
- You **MUST** be available **24/7**, including weekends and holidays, and be able to respond to dispatch on short notice.
- **Salary**:

- $25.00 - $28.00/hr based on experience, reliability, safety, and position offered.
- **Responsibilities**:

- Drive a pick up truck, hauling a 20' trailer with the sidewalk plow properly secured.
- Clearing snow from commercial sites and parking lots using F2690 sidewalk plow, shovel, and hand salter.
- Follow routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
- Ensuring that all areas are properly cleared and free of snow and ice.
- Communicating with supervisors or team members to coordinate snow removal efforts.
- Inspecting equipment and reporting any maintenance or repair needs.
- Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers as needed.
- **Requirements**:

- Must be available 24/7 from November 2024 to April 2025.
- Must have a cell phone with minutes and data.
- Must have reliable transportation to get to our shop.
- Must hold a valid G Class drivers licence and clean abstract.
- Must have Kubota F2690 experience or similar.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience.
- Ability to work in cold and potentially hazardous weather conditions.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy loads.
- Can work independently and as a team.
- **Notes**:

- 8-16 hrs per shift.
- You can expect large commercial and/or municipal sites for winter plowing operations.
- Please note that this position is seasonal and dependent on weather conditions.
- Year round employment options.

HP

Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 70 per week

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 12 hour shift
- On call
