Labelling Coordinator

With operations across Canada and United States, Bento brings together a dynamic team of people with diverse backgrounds, experience, and talent, to create an exceptional guest experience. **Location**: 25 Sims Crescent, Unit 1, Richmond Hill, ON L4B 1C9 | Shift: Monday to Friday - 9:00AM to 5:30PM **(Hybrid role)** **Responsibilities**: - Review labeling documentations such as, but are not limited to, product specifications, finished product labels, nutritional and allergen information, for regulatory compliance - Coordinate with external parties (distributors, vendors, importers, authorities) to ensure that products are legally compliant and meets all Bento requirements and standards - Review, create and maintain regulatory information (product specifications, product labels, nutritional and allergen information) related to ingredients, ingredient formulations and finished products for the Canadian and US market to assess and assure compliance with the corresponding regulatory agency’s policies, regulations, and standards (CFIA, Health Canada, FDA). - Create finished product labels using software such as NutriCalc, and BarTender. Experience with a similar nutrition software such as ESHA Genesis is an asset. - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current food regulations, labeling requirements and relevant technical product and processing information in Canada and US.
