**Position Title: HR Generalist - 3-Month Contract (Extension Possible)**

**Department: Operations**

**Direct Supervisor**:COO**

**Position Purpose**:The HR Generalist supports Sinclair Supply Ltd. by executing day-to-day HR functions across all 16 branches with a focus on recruitment, compliance, health & safety program support. The HR Generalist serves as a trusted partner to employees and managers, ensuring recruitment deadlines are met and policies are followed while fostering a positive and productive workplace.

**Responsibilities (Typical functions)**:
**Recruitment**
- Execute efficient recruitment procedures for all 16 branches.
- Fill open roles within agreed-upon time-to-hire targets.
- Partner with hiring managers to identify recruiting needs and develop role scorecards.
- Conduct regular wage studies and job description reviews, recommending adjustments based on market data.

**Policy & Compliance**
- Maintain up-to-date HR policies and ensure compliance.
- Ensure HR processes are consistent, fair, and aligned with company values.

**Health & Safety Support**
- Coordinate work-related and non-work-related injury/illness claims.
- Partner with appropriate parties to develop return-to-work plans and track modified duties.
- Assist with the administration of health and safety programs and metrics.

**HR Reporting**
- Report on KPI training and HR Metrics.

**Employee Relations**
- Provide conflict resolution guidance to employees and managers, including termination support.

**Other Duties**
- Support internal and external events as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Working towards CHRP designation
- Minimum 3 years of recruiting experience.
- Experience in HR policy development and implementation.
- Proven ability to interpret and comply with employment standards and HR best practices.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Experience with BambooHR or ADP is an asset.

This is a temporary, 3-month contract position, requiring 40 hours per week in the office, with a possible extension. Remote work is not available.
