**Regulatory Testing Specialist**
**Job Description**:
Compliance Testing Specialist is responsible for the administration and coordination of regulatory testing activities for foreign manufacturers in conjunction with local Dorel teams, and in compliance with DHP procedures and requirements.

**Tasks, without being limited to, include**:

- Coordinates product life-cycle testing activities for assigned product categories, including:

- Sample selection coordination with suppliers and foreign teams
- Documentation gathering and validation
- Completion of Test Request Forms, Certifications and other forms as required
- Follow up on sample selection with warehouses, manufacturers and Dorel teams
- Coordination with foreign/domestic teams and Third Party Laboratories
- Validate testing delivered is in line with DHP policies and procedures.
- Perform gap-analysis between completed testing and testing requirements.
- Report findings and regular progress status reports.
- Escalate non-compliances and test failures for evaluation, risk assessment and resolution.
- Maintain product record files for all testing and related documentation, such as test reports, compliance certifications etc.
- Maintain records documenting testing expenditures, act as point of contact for lab invoicing and validate accuracy of invoicing for assigned product categories.
- Develop high level of knowledge of mandatory and voluntary regulatory and retailer testing

standards, for assigned product categories.
- Act as a backup to other members of the Compliance team by developing expertise in other product categories.

**Qualifications**
- College degree, 2-3 years’ experience in a support role in regulatory / compliance / testing.
- Strong time management skills and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Self-motivated and sharp attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and communication skills in English and French.
- Multi-tasking and working well under pressure in order to meet deadlines is key.
- Work well individually and comfortable working in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to respond to inquiries on a tight deadline and adapt to a shifting regulatory framework.
- Computer: MS Suite, Access, Outlook etc.

Description du poste

Le spécialiste des tests de conformité est responsable de l'administration et de la coordination des activités des tests réglementaires pour les fabricants étrangers, en collaboration avec les équipes locales de Dorel, et en conformité avec les procédures et les exigences du DHP.

**Les tâches, sans être limitées, comprennent**:

- Coordonne les activités d'essai du cycle de vie des produits pour les catégories de produits assignées,

notamment:

- Coordination de la sélection des échantillons avec les fournisseurs et les équipes étrangères;
- Collecte et validation de la documentation;
- Remplir les formulaires de demande de test, les certificats et autres formulaires nécessaires;
- Suivi de la sélection des échantillons avec les entrepôts, les fabricants et les équipes de Dorel;
- Coordination avec les équipes étrangères/nationales et les laboratoires tiers.
- La validation des tests effectués est conforme aux politiques et procédures du DHP.
- Effectuer une analyse des écarts entre les tests effectués et les exigences en matière de tests.
- Rendre compte des résultats et des rapports réguliers sur l'état d'avancement.
- Escalader les non-conformités et les échecs des tests pour l'évaluation, l'appréciation des risques et la résolution.
- Tenir à jour les dossiers des produits pour tous les tests et les documents connexes, tels que les rapports de tests, les certifications de conformité, etc.
- Tenir à jour des dossiers documentant les dépenses des tests, servir de point de contact pour la facturation des laboratoires et valider l'exactitude de la facturation pour les catégories de produits attribuées.
- Développer un haut niveau de connaissance des normes réglementaires obligatoires et volontaires et des normes de test des détaillants, pour les catégories de produits attribuées.
- Agir en tant que remplaçant des autres membres de l'équipe de la conformité en développant une expertise dans d'autres catégories de produits.

**Qualifications**
- Diplôme d'études collégiales, 2 à 3 ans d'expérience dans un rôle de soutien en matière de réglementation, de conformité et de test;
- Solides compétences en gestion du temps et aptitude à travailler simultanément sur plusieurs projets;
- Motivé et portant attention aux détails;
- Excellentes aptitudes interpersonnelles, à l’écrit et en communication en anglais et en français;
- Multitâches et capacité de bien travailler sous pression afin de respecter les délais est clés;
