We are currently seeking a Technical Solns.Arch. Specialist Advisor to join our team in Victoria, British Columbia (CA-BC), Canada (CA).

This Contractor Personnel should have skills and a minimum of three years experience in full stack development, including iterative code and development. This should include skills in, and experience with, all of the following:

- API design, versioning and specification (e.g. OpenAPI 3);
- Software design patterns and methodologies (e.g. S.O.L.I.D principles )
- MicroServices patterns (e.g., API composition, Saga, CQRS, API Gateway));
- Transaction management (ACID);
- ORM frameworks (e.g., Hibernate, TypeORM);
- Automated database schema management;
- Unit test (e.g. Spock, Junit, Jest ,);
- Integration tests;
- Modern web UI frameworks (e.g. vue.js, react.js);
- Container orchestration templates (kubernetes/openshift);
- Ensure that security, performance, maintainability, scalability, usability, and reliability are being considered when designing and implementing solutions;
- Authentication and authorization frameworks;
- Data Science tools and methods; and
- Software engineering in general, including the following tools and languages:

- Relational databases
- Reflective programming
- GraphQL
- React
- Relay
- TypeScript
- JsonSchema specification
- Ruby
- Python
- XPath 1.0
- Postgres
- Database testing with PgTap
- Shipit
- Sysdig
- Apache Airflow
- Metabase
- CircleCI
- Github Actions
- Experience working on projects with an iterative (rapid product development, Agile Scrum Process) and user experience focus;
- Experience with API development and integration between systems (new and legacy);
- Experience with continuous deployment environments; and
- Experience in software testing and test automation.

The Province will give preference to a Full Stack Developer #2 Resource with skills and experience in one or more of the following:

- Cloud native web frameworks and cloud storage;
- Red Hat OpenShift;
- Keycloak;
- Test-Driven Development;
- End-to-end UI automation testing (e.g. cypress);
- Mapping technologies (e.g. ArcGIS, Leaflet) and custom visualizations; and
- Compliance with WCAG 2.0 accessibility standards.
