**About the role**
The Team Lead assists in the operational functions of the store and motivates the team to meet sales goals. The Team lead reports directly to the Store Manager and provides leadership and support when the manager is unavailable. We’re a long time family business with deep roots in the community but also with an eye to expansion and we need your help Lots of room for career expansion, the harder you work the further you can go
**Responsibilities**:

- Open availability, able to work weekends especially sunday
- 5 days a week
- Cover store as needed
**Visual**
- Ensure visual merchandising directives are implemented efficiently as per direction and visual standards are maintained at all times
**Store Duties**
- Represent the Conspiracy Comics brand in a positive and passionate manner
- Ensure compliance of all cash handling standards;
- Provide customer-focused service
- Train, develop, and coach team members;
- Perform and supervise daily procedures, such as handling shipments, merchandising, and cashier duties
- Support the Store Manager in managing the day to day operations of the store to ensure the store meets key performance indicators and profit and loss expectations
- Support the Store Manager with the recruitment, training, development and succession of high-performing, results-driven Team Members
- Support store manager in ensuring there is adequate change and small bills on hand for the week in the till
- Ensure backroom is organize and clean at all times to facilitate daily restocks
- Cover the sales floor and ensure that all areas are up to visual standards
- Process retail sales transactions, close out the register and communicate any shortages or overages to manager
- Perform and delegate task to staff members to ensure store daily task are being done in the absence of Store Manager
- Comfortable opening and closing the store as needed on your own
- Able to process exchanges, store credit, & returns
- keep an eye out for potential risk for shrinkage.

- Introducing promotions and opportunities to customers.
- Being knowledgeable of any company policies and procedures and ensuring your Team is knowledgeable in these policies and procedures
- Cross-selling products to increase purchase amounts.
- Effectively use the POS System to search for items, transfer items, and better help customers
- Provide customer-focused service; welcome customers and help resolve customer queries and complaints; ensure all team members, uphold the customer service standard
- Help ensure zoning plan is being met in the absence of the Store Manager
- Other task assigned by Store Manager
- Previous experience working in a retail environment though other customer service experience is also an asset. If you love Comics, Anime, Games and pop culture in general, you’re in the right place
- Superpowers in providing customer service and selling
- A High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Exemplary collaboration and communication skills, as well as Captain America-like leadership
- Able to stand and walk around during scheduled hours, reaching for merchandise using a ladder, step stool and pole. You’ll also have to be able to move around boxes of awesome merchandise that may weigh up to 50 pounds
- Weekend availability preferred
- Ability to drive and your own vehicle would also be an asset as you may be required to work different locations
**Salary**: $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 - 40 per week
