**SWIMMING POOL SERVICE & INSTALLATION TECHNICIAN**

Ottawa Poolworks Service, Supply, Design & Construction - Commercial Swimming Pools, Spas, and Water features -Ottawa, ON

The Swimming Pool Service & Installation Technician will report to the General Manager or Head Technician and will complete service calls and installations as directed. This is a physically demanding position that entails working indoors and outdoors in all types of weather conditions performing various tasks in an industrial setting.

**JOB DESCRIPTION**
- Troubleshoot pumps, filters, heaters, & other pool equipment
- Service/repair chlorine pumps and verify the condition of pool equipment
- Maintenance, repair, and installation of pool, spa, and other related equipment
- Provide quality service and customer support during site visits
- Complete and submit detailed service and maintenance reports in a timely manner
- Balancing and maintaining correct pool water chemistry
- Daily pool Inspections & maintenance
- Preparing pools & spa for health inspections & completing with inspectors
- Ensuring pools & spas are compliant with public health regulation requirements
- Opening and closing of swimming pools
- Vacuuming and cleaning of pool and spa, pool decks, drains and tiles
- Assist with client requests and requirements and make the appropriate recommendations
- Build & maintain positive client relationships

**ADDITIONAL INFORMATION**
- During peak season (April to October) longer may be required to work longer hours and/or on occasion 6 days a week
- Integration into weekend on-call rotation
- Working in both indoor & outdoor settings
- Heavy lifting
- Steel toe footwear is mandatory
- Company uniform provided
- Canadian Citizen and/or possess applicable Work Visa & S.I.N. card

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $23.00 to $30.00 / hour (depending on past experience & qualification)
