**Overview**

2 days per week. Tuesdays remote and Fridays in the office.

Rate: $21 to start

**Qualifications**
- At least 1 year of medical office experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience required.
- Experience using an EMR system is considered an asset.
- Medical Office Assistant certificate considered an asset.
- Knowledge of medical terminology considered an asset.
- Experience with MSP billing considered an asset.
- Computer savvy & detail oriented.
- Strong sense of ownership/responsibility.
- Quick learner and ability to adapt under stress.
- Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
- Must be fully vaccinated and willing to adhere to Covid-19 policies when working in person.
- Able to work in our North Vancouver Clinic and remotely.

**Reception Duties**
- Answering phones
- Booking appointments
- Greeting and rooming patients
- Processing referrals to specialists
- Booking Radiology and lab appointments
- MSP Billing
- Private Billing
- Exam room set up and take down
- Scanning and electronic filing
- Preparing letters
- Inventory management
- Ensuring a clean and organized office environment
- Ensuring fully stocked exam rooms each morning
- Reviewing overdue interventions and recalling patients for appointments
- Participating and supporting ongoing office policies and procedures
- Attend regular staff meetings

**Medical Office Specific Duties**
- Complete accurate patient measurements of adults and children
- Vaccine preparation and accurate documentation
- Preparing procedure trays for PAPs, IUD insertion/removal, biopsies, sutures, suture removals
- Blood pressure readings on an automated cuff
- Urinalysis
- Specimen packaging and sending
- Steam sterilization/Autoclaving of medical instruments

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18 - 22 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
