Pastry Chef for Afternoon Tea

Samuels Boutique Hotel is seeking a Pastry Chef to prepare and bake pastries, finger sandwiches and desserts for our afternoon tea service. This is a part-time position (10am - 5pm, weekends required) and ideal for someone who values precision, presentation, and creating a memorable guest experience. Previous experience is preferred but not mandatory.
**Responsibilities**:
- Bake and assemble pastries, finger sandwiches & desserts for afternoon tea.
- Ensure all pastries meet our quality and presentation standards.
- Prepare and organize items for the continental breakfast.
- Label, stock, and manage kitchen ingredients efficiently.
- Maintain a clean & organized kitchen, adhering to sanitation & health guidelines.
- Assist with plating and final touches for service.
**Requirements**:
- Strong attention to detail and presentation.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a small kitchen.
- A team player who is able to stay positive under pressure.
- Proficient in English with strong communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Food handler certification required.
- Weekend availability required.
