Merlin Plastics Group is a leading processor of post-consumer and post-industrial plastics, committed to providing top-notch environmental services for the packaging industry. We are looking for dedicated and experienced machine operators to join our team.

**Position**: Machine Operator
**Employment Type**: Full-Time, Permanent

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Monitor the video control screen to identify when the baling process should start.
- Operate a button to empty the bunker when full.
- Operate and maintain baling equipment using a touchscreen panel.
- Keep records of bale weights for forklift drivers.
- Maintain a supply of wire in the baler.
- Write tags for the bales.
- Ensure bales are free from contamination and clean them if necessary.
- Clean around the baler and wire track for smooth operation.
- Fully clean the baler inside and out.

**Education and Requirements**:

- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in a plant and warehouse setting is considered an asset.
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers.
- Capability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Eagerness to learn new skills.
- Positive attitude and pride in workmanship.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
