**Meet the role**:
The Education Specialist will be the initial post-sale onboarding contact for LMN customers. This role will utilize technical and operational knowledge of LMN’s software to deliver engaging software training in the form of live virtual webinars, recorded educational content, demonstrations, lectures, and workshops. The Education Specialist will also work to achieve all metric based OKRs (Objectives and Key Results), both independently and in coordination with the leadership team.
**What you’ll be doing day to day**:
- Acting as initial post-sales onboarding contact for enterprise-level companies entering the program.
- Assist with the implementation (data upload, training, ensure strong LMN platform knowledge transfer to the customer).
- Host 1:1 training webinar with members, with creative and customized solutions in place to suit their needs.
- Ensure completion of onboarding process following all measurable metrics.
- Host in-person pre-recorded and virtual Academy Classroom training programs
- Assist with creation of LMN Academy Online and Zendesk course training materials
- Maintain program data and tools to train staff and others.
- Delivers group and individual instruction and training covering a range of technical and / or operational, areas in a specified field.
- Formulates training outlines and determines instructional methods, utilizing knowledge of specified training needs and effectiveness of such methods as individual training, group instruction, lectures, demonstrations, conferences, meetings, and workshops.
- Promote LMN customer success stories, contribute to LMN blog creation and online posting monthly.
- Share onboarding best practices with leadership team, and other teams across LMN as required.
- Successfully achieve all metrics-based performance goals, to be defined by department lead, on a monthly/quarterly basis.
- Performs miscellaneous training-related duties as assigned.
- Accountable for individual OKRs
**About you**:
- Proven experience in designing multiple training events in a corporate setting
- Extensive knowledge of instructional design theory and learning principles
- Proven ability to master the full training cycle
- Ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences
- Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods, tools and techniques
- Spoken English (Fluent), Written English (Professional Level)
- SAAS experience in a customer facing role
- Proven working experience in eLearning design and with eLearning technology.
- Solid knowledge of course development software and at least one Learning Management System (Docebo would be an asset)
- Experience with Articulate 360 preferred
- Ability to pick up new concepts/technologies quickly
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multitask
- Ability to follow repeatable processes to ensure successful resolution of problems
- Ability to deliver the positive voice of LMN in all interactions
- Ability to show empathy and patience when interacting with clients and team members
- Ability to effectively communicate information in a clean and concise manner to clients of all backgrounds, skill levels and technical abilities
- Ability to communicate high level technical information with the product team, to promptly resolve client’s challenges
**Qualifications**:
- Must have post-secondary education
- 2 years of experience in training and development
- 1 year’s experience with a B2B SaaS based company is ideal
