**What We’re Looking For**:

- **Educational Background**: Accredited post-secondary degree/diploma in industrial technology or engineering, business administration, or management.
- **Experience**: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role. Experience in a high-speed, continuous process manufacturing environment is a strong asset.
- **Safety Knowledge**: A strong background in safety protocols and practices.
- **Communication Skills**: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with individuals at all levels.
- **Adaptability**: Able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while managing multiple priorities.
- **Team-Oriented**: Self-motivated and able to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting.
- **Organizational Skills**: Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
- **Technical Proficiency**: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and manufacturing-related software.

**Your Role at Steelcon**:
As the Rusholme Plant Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management and operation of the plant, ensuring production is aligned with company objectives, customer needs, and safety standards. You will drive performance improvements and ensure that operations meet the highest standards of efficiency and quality. Your responsibilities will include:

- **Production Planning**: Plan and schedule production requirements (people and equipment) to meet daily, weekly, and monthly forecasts, ensuring customer needs are met.
- **Operational Oversight**: Monitor plant operations, staffing, and implement process improvements to optimize resource utilization.
- **Policy Administration**: Administer and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, communicating these policies to staff.
- **Safety Leadership**: Champion safety initiatives across the plant, conducting safety inspections, leading safety meetings, and ensuring compliance with safety policies.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity standards and improve worker safety performance.
- **Coaching and Development**: Provide coaching and guidance to team leaders and staff, focusing on improving key performance metrics. Offer counseling and disciplinary support when needed.
- **Legislative Compliance**: Ensure compliance with OHSA, WSIB, Human Rights, Employment Standards, and Labour Relations legislation.
- **Customer Satisfaction**: Recognize the requirements of both internal and external customers, ensuring the highest standards for quality, value, service, and technology.
- **Team Collaboration**: Maintain high levels of communication and collaboration with internal teams to support seamless operations.
