We are an veteran leader in electronic waste recycling, proudly serving the industry for over 20 years. As part of our next phase of growth, we are launching a new processing facility and are seeking an experienced **Plant Manager** to lead this exciting initiative from the ground up.
This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of site startup, equipment installation, and plant layout planning—while building and managing high-performing teams that will shape the future of e-waste processing in the region.
**Position Overview**
**Key Responsibilities**
**Startup & Project Management**:
- Lead the planning, layout, and setup of production lines and machinery for optimal efficiency and workflow.
- Coordinate equipment installation, commissioning, and integration in partnership with engineering, contractor teams and internal teams.
- Oversee site readiness, timeline tracking, and startup milestones to ensure a successful launch.
**Plant Operations & Team Leadership**:
- Manage all plant operations including production, maintenance, logistics, and safety.
- Participate in hire, train, and lead multiple teams across departments.
- Establish and monitor KPIs for output, safety, and quality control.
- Working with Compliance team you will develop SOPs and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Assist in the creation and development of the preventative maintenance process and drive equipment uptime.
- Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
**Qualifications & Experience**
- 5+ years of leadership experience in production or de-manufacturing operations; experience in the recycling or waste industry is a must.
- Proven experience in project managing facility builds, machinery installations, or process commissioning.
- Mechanical aptitude or engineering background is a strong asset.
- Experience optimizing plant layout and workflow for production efficiency.
- Skilled in managing cross-functional teams and driving performance.
- Strong understanding of safety, environmental, and operational compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Post-secondary education in Mechanical, Industrial, or Environmental Engineering, or related technical field.
- Familiarity with MRF (Materials Recovery Facility) operations or e-waste-specific processes.
- Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma experience a plus.
- Experience with IMS, CMMS, or production tracking systems.

**To Apply**:
Pay: $110,000.00-$130,000.00 per year
