We are seeking an experienced **Seafood Counter Manager** to oversee our seafood counter at McEwan Foods. This is a leadership role for someone passionate about seafood, detail-oriented in presentation, and motivated to keep the counter running at the highest standard every day.

**What You’ll Do**
- Lead daily operations of the McEwan seafood counter, ensuring outstanding product quality and display
- Oversee prepared seafood items (salads, poke, marinated seafood) with proper labeling, pricing, and presentation
- Supervise and train counter staff, ensuring consistent standards and accountability
- Manage inventory levels, product rotation, and transfers to reduce waste and maximize sales
- Provide excellent customer service and share product knowledge with guests
- Collaborate with Daily Seafood’s production team, occasionally assisting with value added products

**What We’re Looking For**
- Previous experience managing a seafood counter, deli counter, or prepared foods section (specialty grocery, butcher, or hospitality background an asset)
- Knowledge of seafood handling, display, and food safety standards
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and motivate staff
- High attention to detail, especially in labeling, presentation, and consistency
- Culinary/chef background is a plus but not required

**Compensation & Benefits**
- **$26-30/hr** depending on experience, plus potential for additional bonuses
- Full-time, 40 hours per week

Pay: $26.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
