Flynn Group of Companies is currently looking for a Glazing Foreman to support our Victoria Branch located in Saanichton, BC (Office Location - 6836 - Kirkpatrick Crescent #1, Saanichton BC V8M 1Z9). This role will include duties related to assisting the Glazing superintendent for the Service department.
- Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of Glazing work including but not limited to safety, housekeeping, and workmanship quality
- Prepare production and other reports
- Co-ordinate and schedule activities
- Train or arrange for training, Set up machines and equipment,
- Estimate costs and materials,
- Read blueprints and drawings, Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies,
- Resolve work-related problems and prepare and submit progress and other reports,
- Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a glazier in the commercial construction industry OR completion of a two
- to three-year apprenticeship program
- Previous experience in Foreman role is preferred
- Strong knowledge in construction industry and related activities is an asset
- Display excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Hold a valid Driver's License
