Clannad Counselling Consulting Inc., is a private practice that is founded upon attachment principles that focus on healthy relationships across the life span. Our clinic is expanding as a centre of excellence in attachment based practices. We provide clinical services for individuals, couples and families through direct therapeutic services as well as through therapeutic groups and our Equine Supported Wellness programs. We also provide training and workshops to the greater community through a variety of different topics including, attachment, trauma responsive practices, developmental trauma, and compassion fatigue and burnout. We are a growing practice and are looking for a Clinical Social Worker to join our team in a.8 or fulltime capacity.

**Qualifications**:

- registration with the Nova Scotia College of Social Workers in good standing
- Possession of professional liability insurance
- minimum of 2-5 years experience in support individuals, couples, families and teens in a clinical setting
- MSW, RSW
- working knowledge of attachment and trauma responsive practices is an asset (willing to train)

Overview:
As a Clinical Social Worker, you will have the opportunity to provide direct clinical care through a full caseload. There are opportunities to join our education/training team for community capacity building, or opportunities to join our Equine Supported Wellness team (training required) through our clinical programs. You will have the option to develop and deliver your own therapy groups or other services that align with your skill set and training. Our clinic continues to offer services both in person and through telehealth at this time providing flexibility for your work schedule. We recognize some of the inherent challenges of private practice and therapeutic work without a sense of team and collegial support. That is why we are committed to providing a supportive, warm and encouraging team environment for all of our employees. Our clinic offers in-house case consultations, professional development opportunities, team building, and peer supervision on a regular basis.
