What you’ll do:
- Coordinate the planning and execution of BCAA’s sponsorships, activations, and community engagement events.- Work closely with internal teams to align event strategies with BCAA’s purpose, business goals, and brand pillars.- Oversee event logistics, including registration, venue booking, vendor management, and participant engagement.- Provide onsite event support, assisting with setup, teardown, and event operations.- Research and maintain an inventory of venues, vendors, and event resources to ensure seamless execution.- Assist in the development of creative event concepts that align with BCAA’s business, social, and environmental objectives.- Review sponsorship and event proposals, summarizing key details to assess alignment with corporate priorities.- Maintain event documentation, including workback schedules, run-of-play documents, and budget tracking.- Coordinate promotional materials, signage, and giveaways, ensuring cost-effective and sustainable sourcing.- Provide administrative support, including calendar management, meeting coordination, and content sharing across internal platforms.
- What you bring:
- Diploma or Certificate in Marketing, Events, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.- 3-5 years of experience in events, program coordination, or project management.- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think on your feet and adapt in real-time.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.- Experience managing event logistics, vendor coordination, and participant engagement.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).- Flexibility to travel and work outside of standard business hours (evenings and weekends) for events.- Valid BC Driver’s License, with the ability to travel throughout the province as required.
