**Position Overview**

The Vice President of Sales will assume the pivotal role of planning, managing, and optimizing all aspects of DBM Vircon's North American sales operations, client relationships, and internal processes. This role is integral to achieving DBM Vircon's yearly targeted sales and revenue goals. The Vice President of Sales will be responsible for overseeing sales execution, pipeline management, reporting, planning, leadership and team management, estimating, marketing, and various administrative tasks. The role will focus on business development, client relationship building, and understanding market needs for our core modeling and detailing services.

**Key Responsibilities**
Your main responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

- **Strategic Sales Leadership**: Develop and execute impactful sales strategies to consistently exceed targets and drive new business growth across North America.
- **Client Relationship Management**: Cultivate and nurture strong, long-term client partnerships, ensuring high satisfaction and fostering loyalty.
- **Robust Pipeline Management**: Oversee and optimize the sales pipeline, targeting substantial opportunities and making data-driven bid/no-bid decisions.
- **Performance Reporting & Analytics**: Provide clear, comprehensive sales reports and performance insights to key stakeholders, monitoring progress against goals.
- **Sales Planning & Cadence**: Establish individual and yearly sales plans, conducting regular meetings (weekly/bi-weekly, monthly 1:1s, quarterly) to ensure alignment and progress.
- **Team Leadership & Development**: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team, managing all aspects from staffing and training to compensation.
- **Estimating Oversight**: Prioritize bidding opportunities and ensure accurate, competitive, and professionally presented estimates, optimizing resource allocation.
- **Marketing & Market Strategy**: Collaborate closely with marketing to refine strategies, identify growth opportunities, manage budgets, and analyze market trends.
- **Cross-Functional Collaboration & Administration**: Actively participate in Senior Leadership Team meetings and efficiently manage essential administrative tasks to support overall business objectives.

**Work Experience**
- , engineering, or maintenance.
- Minimum of five (5) years sales/marketing experience, with a focus on B2B sales experience.
- Proven track record in selling technical solutions to the construction/engineering sector.
- Proven leadership and management skills to direct and motivate teams.
- Experience managing enterprise-level client relationships.

**Education/Training**

Bachelor's degree (or similar) from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Construction Management, Sales, Business, Marketing or related fields preferred.

**Software & Technology**
- Proficiency in Salesforce.
- Knowledge of the following construction modelling software would be beneficial: Tekla, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Revit, Bluebeam.

**Salary Range**

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $150,000 to $200,000 CAD per annum + Commission (performance-based). The final base salary will be determined based on factors such as the applicant's education, skills, competencies, and unique qualifications.
