**The Work**:
The Claims Adjuster is responsible for automotive warranty claims loss adjusting and facilitating various program administration tasks, while providing exceptional customer service. This is a great opportunity for those with automotive service advisor, mechanic or auto body experience looking to move to an office role and grow their career.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide exceptional customer service via telephone and written correspondence to customers who have purchased our product, auto dealerships selling our product and repair facilities that service our customers
- Facilitate claim adjusting process to meet department service level agreements and underwriting commitments
- Liaise with Finance Department and Dealer Support Team, as necessary
- Uphold Service Level Agreements and best practice standards

**Required Skills**:

- Ability to analyze overall damage to determine procedures for repair
- Ability to determine extent of direct/indirect damage and direction of impact
- Build estimates according to GAA standards, using Audatex and Mitchell-on Demand estimating software
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Exceptional customer service
- Tactful negotiator
- Excellent attention to detail
- Effective and efficient at multi-tasking
- Courteous and professional telephone manner
- Proficient with MS Office suite of products
- Bilingual (English/French) oral and written is an asset

**Education**:

- Journeyman certification or 1st,2nd,or 3rd year apprenticeship preferred
- Valid Adjuster license as required by provincial regulatory agency is nice to have.

**Experience**:

- 3+ years automotive service experience
- 1+ years claims adjusting experience considered asset
