Our client - a vibrant Niagara-based B Corp, with a welcoming and caring culture are looking to add a Branch Manager to their collaborative and positive Fonthill team. The Branch Manager leads and manages the overall branch operations and branch team, with the purpose of to attain growth including leading the building of relationships in the community. You will be responsible for the overall success of the branch, including achieving branch goals and key KPI’s, by effectively coaching, training, and leading the team to deliver an exceptional Member experience and financial advice.
**Role Requirements**:
- Lead the adherence to all procedures for cash management and branch opening and closing. Review and analyse financial statements, system generated reports on a regular basis to ensure compliance and prepare and submit branch reports as directed
- Establish a Member-centric focus for the branch, promoting leadership and a high-level of Member service in all interactions, through ongoing feedback and leading by example
- Coach the branch team in the development of their sales and advice skills, product knowledge, relationship development skills, and how to identify opportunities
- Identifies internal & external opportunities to build and develop business within the community and lead the branch in campaigns and business development activities
- Lead the growth, deepening, and maintenance of relationships with our Members by providing holistic advice to help Member meet their short
- and long-term goals
- Manage performance of all employees, including training, coaching, feedback, and performance reviews, lead hiring and selection process
- Open new accounts and through the process, identify additional Member needs, promoting the appropriate solution to meet these needs
- Provide investment advice and identify the appropriate solution including registered and non-registered term deposits, TFSAs, mutual funds, and wealth solutions that fit and meet the Members’ needs
- Remain up to date on products, services, operational and risk policies and procedures, while promoting adherence to established policies and procedures and risk management strategies
- Ensure all lenders are making sound loan and mortgage decisions within their discretionary limits and as appropriate, are selling and cross selling credit union loan insurance products
- Ensure effective use and integration of the CRM in all advice-based activities.
**Qualifications**:
- Must have at least 5 to 7 years progressive experience in credit union or bank branch with lending limits
- PFP or CFP designation is required, continually meeting educational requirements to maintain designations
- Must have a Mutual Funds license under MFDA
- 2+ years in a leadership role
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $72,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
