The **Analyst, Data Enablement** will provide support in developing, implementing and enhancing a non-invasive stewardship and literacy framework in line with the Data Utilization vision and strategy. Work closely with business stakeholders / SMEs around the Enterprise to better understand their data needs, act as the point of contact for Data Utilization needs and improve the data literacy of the organization.

**A typical day will involve**:
Execute and deliver assigned data enablement work from both a project and business BAU perspective.

Work with SMEs and required partners to understand, document and periodically review artifacts that will enable the organization to leverage data in a correct manner.

Organize, coordinate, and assist cross-functional teams in planning, development, and execution of data enablement oriented processes at the operational level.

Maintain data enablement processes and controls by working with stakeholders to analyze the impact of future changes.

Clearly communicate to both technical and non-technical teams and recommend actions to stakeholders of all aptitudes that enable the organization to use data.

Challenge bias and influence by highlighting the reasons why this type of work benefits each stakeholder. Act as a thought leader.

Evaluate data literacy levels of various lines of business and develop tailored training materials to increase the level of data literacy across the organization.

Continuous learning and development around Vancity’s products and services and best practice in information management delivery and data integration

**You have**:

- Post-secondary education with Diploma/Degree
- 2-4 years’ experience in banking, customer service, social finance, or related field
- Strong interpersonal and writing skills
- Strong English communications skills (oral and written)

**You are**:

- **Organized -** You can prioritize your work and execute it with great attention to detail
- **Diligent-** You have an attention to detail. You follow up with others when needed to ensure actions are complete.
