**Program Information**:
BGC charlotteown's youth program aims to serve the needs of young people in the community aged 12-18 through a variety of programs aimed at developing technological literacy, life skills, employability and academic programming. These programs will provide a sense of community and a safe space for youth that is currently under served in the Charlottetown community.
**Job Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:
- Be onsite Monday-Friday during scheduled program hours
- Support the Youth Engagement Coordinator in the planning and facilitation of program activities in the areas of Arts, Sports, Scienec and Technology, Cooking, Outdoor Education, Mental health & Well Being, Social and Emotional Learning
- Accurately track program expenses
- Assist the Youth Engagement Coordinator in the supervision of program leaders throughout daily programs
- engage and integrate all participants in daily programs
- Assist with daily operations and facility maintenance
- Effectively communicate with other staff, supervisors & families
- monitor participants throughout the day to maintain safety
- keep detailed logs of daily interactions with members, incidents & Accidents
- empower the participants to successfully learn and develop appropriate life skills for their abilities
- provide administrative support as needed
- act as point of contact for the youth engagement coordinator when they are not on site.

**Qualifications**
Emergency First aid & CPR
Clear Criminal Record check and Vulnerable sector search
Previous experience working with youth/young people
**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 10 months
Pay: $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 21 - 37.5 per week
