**Occupational Health & Safety Administrator**

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Reviewing and updating company safety manual and policies and procedures as required.
- Ensuring all policies and procedures meet legislative requirements.
- Documenting and maintaining OH&S requirements.
- Orientation to new employees as well as adding new employee documentation/training information to Cognibox database.
- Ensure employee training is current and up to date.
- Data entry for both COR and Cognibox.
- Maintaining and updating Cognibox database daily.
- Conduct workplace inspections looking for safety risks and deficiencies.
- Other administrative duties as assigned.

**Qualifications & Abilities**
- Successful completion of a post-secondary degree or diploma in a field related to Occupational Health and Safety.
- Minimum 2 years experience preferably in the construction environment.
- COR Certification would be an asset.
- Highly skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and other operating systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must have great organizational and time management skills as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills.
