As a Members Club Operations Manager you will oversees the daily functioning of an exclusive wine and spirits focused venue, combining top-tier hospitality with precise operational, financial and, logístical management. This role requires managing a team of hospitality members, premium food and beverage program, upholding stringent service standards for an optimal member experience and driving profitable revenue through curated food and beverage, events and member focused programs. Key Responsibilities - Operational Leadership: Oversee day-to-day operations, including opening/closing procedures, ensuring the venue adheres to high-quality standards for members and guests. - Member & Guest Experience: Provide exceptional service, managing member relations and addressing feedback to ensure a personalized, high-end experience. - Food & Beverage Program Management: Curate and maintain the wine and spirits and food menu list, manage inventory, place supplier orders, and track stock levels to minimize waste and optimize costs. - Staff Management: Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise staff fostering a knowledgeable and professional team while adhering to our professional service standards for team members. - Financial Accountability: Manage daily, weekly and monthly financial reporting requirements, monitor revenue and expenses versus budget targets and report variances to ownership and implement strategies to meet financial goals. - Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with all liquor, health, and safety regulations. Required Skills and Qualifications - Experience: 2+ years of management experience in a upscale private club or equivalent hospitality venue. - Wine Knowledge: Broad knowledge of wine regions, varietals, and service techniques is preferred. - Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate staff and build a positive, performance-based work environment. - Organizational Skills: Excellent planning, organizing and multi-tasking capabilities. - Communication: Highly developed interpersonal skills for member interaction and team management accompanied with excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in working within various computer systems (POS, inventory and financial management systems) Common Performance Indicators (KPIs) - Members - Satisfaction scores and members retention business - Activation of Members within venue (attendance, concierge service, events/meetings) - Business Metrics - Sales & Margin Performance (all channels) vs Business Targets - Operating Expense Management vs Budget - Overall Business Profitability vs Business Targets - Staff - Retention of staff (via training, incentives, increased responsibilities) - Recruitment of new team members to support premium member experience - Encouraging skill development (product and professional training opportunities - WSET, vendor training sessions) Compensation Package - Competitive Base Salary - Employee Discounts - Extended Health Benefits - Parking - Sales performance-based bonuses Reports To: This key leadership role reports to directly to ownership Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year **Benefits**: - Dental care - Discounted or free food - Extended health care - On-site parking - Paid time off - Store discount Work Location: In person
