**Modella Ladieswear Manager Port Perry Job Overview**:
Modella Port Perry is seeking a highly motivated and charismatic Store Manager to oversee the operations of our retail store. The Store Manager will be responsible for ensuring the store runs smoothly, meeting sales targets, merchandising and providing excellent customer service. This is a leadership role that requires strong organizational and managerial skills.

**Who Are We?** Modella is a beautiful chain of clothing store all over southern Ontario. We have an amazing family of employees of which many have been with the company for over 20 years. the store and company environment is fun, serious and exciting. We carry quality women's clothing from some of the greatest designers such as Joseph Ribkoff, Dolcezza, NYDJ, Charlie B, Tribal and more.

**Our Manager of many years is retiring soon and we need to have someone new at the helm of our store. We need a mature, responsible, passionate and charismatic individual to lead our staff and take care of our Port Perry location for many years to come. Modella is truly a unique retail experience.**

**Duties**:

- Manage all aspects of store operations, including sales, inventory management, and customer service
- Work with our team to implement strategies, achieve sales targets and increase profitability
- Train, supervise, and motivate store staff to deliver exceptional customer service
- Motivate employees
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure product availability
- Handle cash handling procedures, including opening and closing registers, preparing deposits, and reconciling cash drawers
- Oversee merchandising activities to ensure products are displayed attractively and in accordance with company guidelines
- Resolve customer complaints or issues in a timely and satisfactory manner
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling and reporting to head office

Qualifications:

- Good understanding of the fashion industry
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proficient in cash handling procedures and point-of-sale (POS) systems
- Ability to interview, train, and develop staff members
- Strong problem-solving abilities with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Pay: $35,000.00-$45,000.00 per year

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Sales: 3 years (required)
- Retail management: 1 year (preferred)
