We are Warren Industries, an auto-parts manufacturer in Vaughan located at Hwy 7 and Dufferin. We make parts for some of the world’s best cars

We currently have an opening for an experienced **Die Setter/Press Setup Technician** on our afternoon shift. (3:00pm-11:00pm)
- 3 years of automotive stamping experience (automotive stamping press and set-up tech experience)
- Ability to independently do die set-ups on presses and must be able to independently run all transfer presses
- Forklift and overhead crane experience is required, company paid training available
- Proven leadership skills, which may include training operators
- Understand all functions of stamping press, feeder and de-coiler
- Understand dynamics of progressive dies during production run
- Must have basic computer skills (for in-house system) and strong communication skills
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must have an understanding of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and how to address safety issues
- Must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment

**Day to Day Responsibilities -**
- Die set up and run transfer presses
- Train operators as required
- Monitor quality of parts and follow outlined processes
- Recommend improvements in processes
- Must support Management decisions and lead by example
- Must be willing to fill in for Production Supervisor when required
- Troubleshoot issues pertaining to quality, runability and transfers
