Heritage Christian Online School (HCOS) is a K-12 Online School providing fully accredited Christian education to students in BC. At HCOS, we are focused on growing in academics as we grow in relationship with Jesus.

Within the Inclusive Education division, our goal is to provide supportive and flexible Christ-centred programming for students with diverse needs, learning from home and Community Connection locations

Heritage Christian Online School has a need for part-time self-employed independent contractors to support one or more students at our one day a week on-site locations called Community Connections in **Chilliwack, BC,** **as an** **in-class Education Assistant for the 2025/26 school year.**Additional hours supporting students at home may be available.
- Tuesdays : K/1, 2/3 and 4/5 9:15 to 2:45
- Wednesdays: 6/7 8:45 to 3:15

Specific training for working with students with diverse abilities, such as an Education Assistant certificate (or equivalent), is required

**Duties & Responsibilities**

As an Education Assistant, your duties and responsibilities will include:

- Support executive functioning and self-regulation
- Support academics
- Work collaboratively within the classroom
- Provide the social, spiritual, and academic learning needs of students, providing mentorship to the whole person
- Support IEP goals

- Experience in differentiating learning for students of various proficiency levels
- Understanding of Autism and other diverse abilities
- Proficient in Zoom, Google Workspace, etc
- Class 5 Driver's License

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $24.18-$28.13 per hour

Expected hours: 7 - 20 per week
