**Summary of Duties**:
Reporting to the Supervisor, Customer Service, the Recreation Systems Coordinator supports the Service Area by reviewing, testing, and making suggestions for improving functionality of various Recreation and Sport systems. Provides related training and maintains training materials and process documents.

**Work Performed**:

- Acts as a central contact point for all user-operational aspects of the various recreation services systems including but not limited to the recreation activity management system, golf management system and staff scheduling and management system.
- Coordinates all system updates including testing to ensure any potential issues are addressed before systems are updated.
- Works with Information Technology Services to ensure systems and all associated technology meet Information Technology and Information Security standards and requirements.
- Coordinates with Management and staff regarding new business areas which will be utilizing these systems (discovery, building, training, deployment, and launch).
- Participates in various organizational and user groups regionally or provincially related to these systems.
- Liaises with various divisions such as Information Technology Services and Finance in balancing and financial reconciliation of systems and troubleshooting system hardware issues.
- Verifies system issues through communication and testing with users; prioritizes and contacts the vendor to resolve as required.
- Maintains all system folders and roadmaps.
- Documents and updates all training manuals/documents.
- Provides virtual and in-person training to applicable staff.
- Researches and provides alternative solutions to management staff regarding applicable technology systems that could meet business needs.
- Performs related duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:
Completion of a two-year Diploma program in Business, or equivalent program.

**Experience**:
Minimum one year of experience working in a recreation setting and direct working experience with recreation management systems.

**Specialized Training & Licenses**:

- Experience working with various recreation management systems (Xplor Recreation, GEN, RecStaff, etc.) is required.

**Skills and abilities in the following areas are necessary**:

- Demonstrated excellent communication skills to facilitate training, prepare documentation and messaging, and exchange information with systems vendors.
- Customer service orientation and able to work well as part of a team.
- Demonstrated attention to detail with ability to meet project deadlines.
- Project Management certification is an asset.

**Compensation & Other Information**:
$49,450 - $69,530 (Level 9)

This posting is for 1 permanent full-time position.

Current hours of Work: Monday - Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Work Arrangement: On-site. Subject to change in accordance with business requirements.
