BLS International Vancouver office is looking for Full Time Greeter.

This is an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to build a career in government to citizen services. In a nutshell, this is a front office Customer Service and data entry position with high attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:
1. Screen Applicants, and facilitate the efficient queuing, entry, and movement of Applicant into and through the designated areas of the Mission.

2. Verify applicants’ documentation to ensure it is complete and in the defined order to facilitate the interview

4. Provide Applicants with additional information or, as per direction from CSRA

5. Coordinate the queues of Applicants into agreed upon time blocks, according to the time of their appointments.

6. Ensure that the waiting time is kept to a minimum for Applicants with any mental or physical limitations such as people with disabilities, pregnant women, and the elderly.

7. Ensure that public is treated fairly, professionally, and courteously.

8. Perform document sorting, packaging, labeling, and tracking for courier pick up.

9. Adhere to the security rules established by the Mission or CSRA.

10. Be alert to any evidence of fraud and report these instances to the OM.

11. Respond to any crowd control emergency and alert Mission guards as appropriate.

12. Receive Applicant complaints and inform the Manager.

13. Receive training and become knowledgeable in areas concerning consular information service as deemed necessary by Manager.

14. Other duties as assigned by the Manager.

Skills Required:

- You have at least 1 year experience within a Sales Operations / Support role, ideally within the FMCG industry.
- You possess excellent interpersonal as well as written and verbal communication skills.
- You are a strong team player who can manage multiple stakeholders
- You are adaptable and thrive in changing environments
- You are highly goal driven and work well in fast paced environments

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Day range:

- Monday to Friday

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Shift:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Toronto, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (required)

**Experience**:

- Administrative: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
