**Responsibilities**

**Order Processing**
- Plan, organize and direct the flow of shipping and receiving schedule.
- Review shipping schedule, including special instructions.
- Review bill of lading, receiving documentation, and other appropriate shipping and receiving documentation.
- Assign orders for completion to shipping personnel.

**Preparation of Material**
- Identify product by label and/or tag

**Packaging**
- Inspect packaging
- Inspect label for accuracy and completeness, i.e., match label to package

**Housekeeping**
- Keep work area clean
- Maintain a safe workplace

**Lift Truck Operation and Inspection**
- Lift truck certification
- Operation of lift truck as required
- Perform pre-shift lift truck inspection
- Record results

**Load/Unload Inspection**
- Ensure truck is properly docked/chocked
- Ensure shipment is properly loaded and fully secured
- Record results

**Material Handling**
- Stage material at shipping / loading dock for shipment
- Ensure received goods are transported / delivered to the appropriate department
- Ensure items received are placed in their designated storage location to prevent damage and deterioration
- Assist in preparing warehouse for inventories

**Inventory**
- Perform inventory as required
- Record results

**Training**
- Conduct training of other employees as assigned.

**Required Qualifications**

One (1) to three (3) years of warehousing experience in shipping and receiving

Valid Forklift Certificate

**Required Qualifications**
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing warehouse environment with progressing levels of responsibility.
- Previous experience managing employees.
- Strong numerical ability.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.
- Must possess basic mechanical aptitude Possession of a valid Forklift Licence is an asset
- Strong customer interfacing skills
- Strong computer, written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and follow up skill
- Exceptional time management, program management, and organization skills
- Verbal and written communication skills, including presenting and facilitating team meetings.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and successfully manage multiple responsibilities.
- ERP systems experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office

**Experience**:

- Warehouse management: 3 years (required)
- Counterbalance Forklift: 3 years (required)
