**Physician Assistant Job Description**
We are a new multidisciplinary clinic, empowering people to gain agency over their health with a primary focus on urinary tract infections (UTIs). We are located in Vaughan, ON, at Keele and Rutherford walking distance to the Rutherford Go Train and close to major highways.
Role Description
We are looking to fill a part-time Physician Assistant contract role for in person and remote work (where appropriate). The Physician Assistant will be responsible for supporting the medical director and physician staff with patient care, conducting health assessments, documentation, diagnosing and treating illnesses, and collaborating with healthcare professionals. Hours will include two weekday evening and one weekend day clinics.
**Qualifications**:
- Graduate of a Canadian Physician Assistant Program and successful completion of CCPA exam
- Advanced knowledge of medical procedures and patient care for people with chronic illness and complex medical needs preferred
- Excellent communication, documentation and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast paced team environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
- Experience in a clinic or similar setting is preferred
**Job Type**: Part-time
