L'Etoile de Pacho is a support network of parents with disabled children, who have decided to put their knowledge and experience together to help other parents in similar situations. We offer personalized support services to help parents by sharing our experiences, resources and journey.
**We are looking for a hardworking, compassionate caregiver to provide home care for a 5 years old boy with special needs.**
**Schedule**:
- 15 hours / week
- 3 hours from Monday to Friday, from 4.30pm to 7.30pm
- starting as soon as possible
**Tasks description**:
- Assist the child with daily living activities;
- Following the previously established schedule;
- Maintain a healthy, secure and comfortable environment;
- Use the adapted material for different type of stimulation;
- Provide hygiene care (bath, etc.);
- Fix and supervise the meals;
- Play with him.
- Help with transfers from the ground floor to the first floor
**Qualifications**:
- College diploma (DEC) in progress
- 1 to 6 months of experience in personal care or other related fields.
- A high degree of tolerance, empathy and patience.
- Excellent opportunity for students in the following fields: Special care counselling, nursing, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, early childhood education._ therapy Physiotherapy.
