Cogir Real Estate is continually looking to expand their presence in the BC/Western Canada area.

**About You**:
The person we are looking for has accounting experience, strong attention to detail, a customer-service focus and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced dynamic environment. This position is part-time, up to 22.5 hours/week (weekdays) and is onsite at our Regional Office in Kelowna.

**Position Overview**:
This position is responsible for assisting in the monthly accounting as well as the preparation of monthly audit files for the Regency group of properties.
- Posting payroll journal entries & preparing payroll report package
- Perform required month end reconciliations including but not limited to bank reconciliations, prepaid expenses, capital asset schedules, accrued liabilities, intercompany reconciliations
- Prepare monthly internal audit files for signatures
- Respond to internal auditor requests for information
- Prep all month end files
- Review CAPEX packages, post required journal entries & prepare necessary reports
- Participate in assigned special projects
- Establish and maintain good business relationships with various property managers
- Perform other daily and weekly financial and reporting requirements as needed.

- University degree in accounting an asset

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $25.00-$27.00 per hour

- French not required

- No weekends

- Accounting: 1 year (preferred)
- Bookkeeping: 1 year (preferred)
