We have a fantastic opportunity to join our Merchandise Services team as a
**Category Management Analyst.** Reporting to the Category Management Manager, in this role you will support Merchandise teams with the development and execution of detailed Category Management plans.

**What you’ll do**:

- Gather and input data; build, analyze and distribute reports to strengthen merchandise decisions and meet financial goals and objectives. Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis of internal data including sales, inventory, and pricing data, and external industry, market, channel, and economic data.
- Conduct and present milestone reporting as required.
- Build knowledge of category management processes; understand key stakeholders both internally and externally as well as their involvement in the process.
- Provide process support with activities including, but not limited to, Imports, Private brands, Quality Management and After-Sales service.
- Assist with tactical insight recommendations to capitalize on opportunities to improve category performance.
- Collaborate with the Merchandise Managers to populate standardized category templates supporting the ongoing line reviews and annual category management reviews to help drive actionable insights.

**What we’re looking for**:

- College / University diploma or degree in Business, Math or Data Analytics preferred.
- Strong analytical and process skills.
- Organizational agility, strategic acumen, and a comfort with ambiguity.
- Analytical and computer skills, with familiarity in Excel, Access, and Microsoft Power BI.
- Strong interpersonal skills are required, including being able to effectively communicate and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Experience in category management/business analysis; synthesize information to develop understanding and insights.
