Restoration Crew Supervisor

We are currently recruiting for a full-time Restoration Crew Supervisor in our Bachly Emergency Services Division. This position is based out of our main office at 27 Nixon Road in Bolton, Monday to Friday from 7:30am to approximately 4:30pm. This role requires daily travel throughout the GTA in company provided vehicles.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Supervise crews of up to 10 general laborers
- Assign tasks to crew members and transporting crew via company vehicle to job sites throughout the GTA
- Responsible for liaising between Estimators, Project Managers, and clients
- Assist Project Managers with job scope development
- Daily completion of work documentation using Encircle software and Excel
- Photograph and inventory damaged contents
- General labour related to flood and fire emergency mitigation including:

- Non-structural demolition of drywall, plaster, flooring materials, etc.
- Cutting and removal of carpet
- Property and contents cleaning and/or moving
- Water pumping and extraction
- Installing and monitoring drying equipment
- Post-construction clean ups removing rubble and other debris
- Other duties as assigned by the Operations Supervisor, Coordinator or VP of Emergency Services

**POSITION REQUIREMENTS**:

- Availability to work Monday to Friday 7:00am - 4:30 pm
- Participation in rotating on-call schedule for after-hours Emergency Services
- CSA approved safety footwear
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), climb ladders, and work in various environments
- Comfortability working in environments that may be contaminated with heavy smoke residue, mould and mildew, contaminated water or other unsanitary conditions
- Active participation in on-going training and safety certifications as needed

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- 4+ years experience within the restoration industry, supervision experience is advantageous
- Valid Ontario driver’s license and clean drivers abstract
- IICRC certifications are strongly preferred (WRT, AMRT, ASD)
- Exceptional communication with team members and clients
- Ability to problem solve in fast-paced environments
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Firm understanding of job safety and the ability to use personal protective equipment (PPE)
