Supervisor, Dispatch

**The Role** We are currently searching for a Dispatch Supervisor, reporting to the Manager, Transportation. This is a full-time permanent position based out of the Bolton Distribution Centre. Join us to continue to create a fun and genuine work culture that really feels like your second family **What You’ll Be Doing** - Coordinate and supervise the shift activities within a busy unionized DC environment - Monitor all transport crews to ensure all deliveries are made in a timely fashion - Providing a primary point of contact to internal and external customers - Managing ad hoc requests, their viability, and follow up communication - Training of new and existing employees and performance management - Addressing all delivery related issues with staff and customers in an expedient manner - Ensure that customer service targets and goals are successfully met - Conduct workplace investigations and subsequent follow up - Review work group performance and implement corrective action when necessary - Ensure the company’s Health and Safety, Operational and Budgetary efficiencies are met - Exemplify the Company’s dedication to customer service - Other responsibilities involve Inventory, Fleet and Warehouse Management, Quality Control, SOX and Audit compliance **Who You Are - Your Knowledge, Skills & Experience** - A post-secondary education preferred - A minimum of 3 - 5 years of operations experience in a unionized environment - Previous experience in a unionized environment a strong asset - Strong analytical and problem solving skills - Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives - The ability to make sound decisions in a timely fashion - Proven leadership ability to effectively manage the team of direct reports - Above average communication skills - Strong interpersonal skills - Proficiency in MS Office programs such as Excel, Word, Outlook and Power Point - Previous experience with SAP is considered an asset - Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety, Ministry of Transportation and WSIB regulations would be an asset - The availability to work all shifts in a 24 hour operation is necessary to succeed in this role **Deadline to Apply: ASAP** **Equal Opportunity Employer** We are committed to providing a respectful and empowering workplace that values our greatest resource, our people.
