Grooming Supervisor

**Pet Grooming**:

- Perform grooming services for dogs and cats, grooming a minimum of 5-6 dogs/ cats per day
- Assist other groomers and grooming assistants in building their skills and maintaining a high quality of service, offer handling and grooming advice and feedback
- Supervise other groomers and ensure handling policies and injury/ emergency protocols are followed
- Ensure detailed notes are being recorded for each groom on each pet’s file
- Report any serious incidents or violations of policy to management immediately

**Client Communication**:

- Consult with clients, understand their grooming preferences,provide excellent customer service, answer client inquiries, and build lasting relationships with pet owners
- Oversee all client care, assist other groomers in managing client requests/ concerns/ complaints in a professional and helpful manner, report any serious incidents/ complaints to management
- Ensure detailed notes are kept on file to ensure personalized client care

**Sanitation and Cleanliness**:

- Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, sterilize equipment, and ensure that all tools are in good working condition
- Ensure all groomers and grooming assistants are sanitizing properly between dogs and keeping the space clean and hygienic
- Ensure client waiting area and retail is clean and organized

**Inventory**:

- Facilitate bi-weekly inventory counts for supplies and retail
- Inform management when orders need to be placed for supplies or retail

**Financial**:

- Ensure cash is counted nightly, report any discrepancies to management
- Ensure each dog is being cashed out properly at pick up

**Scheduling**:

- Ensure each groomer is fully booked each day (with as many dogs as they are comfortable grooming)
- Make sure all appointments are being confirmed to avoid cancellations/ no shows
- Make sure no-show fees are processed as per our policy
- Ensure groomers have their schedules available two months ahead
- Forward any vacation requests to management

**Salary**: $40,000.00-$80,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

Ability to commute/relocate:
