Jim Pattison Collision & Glass has a new opportunity for aCollision Manager to join our team

**Job Description Summary**:
Reporting to the General Manager, you will be passionate about leading your department to success. As a Collision Manager, you will direct the work activities of your department employees, including their observance of deadlines and productivity levels, as well as the maintenance of quality standards. You will also be responsible for maintaining customer satisfaction standards.

**Responsibilities**:

- Promotes a Collision Center culture that focuses on exceeding the expectations of our customers.
- Builds and maintains good working relations with insurance adjusters.
- Builds and maintains good relations with the customers, to encourage their loyalty and obtain their recommendations.
- Welcomes arriving customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Motivates the collision center personnel.
- Participates in hiring jointly with the General Manager.
- Manages and draws up the work plan for all employees.
- Verifies the quality of the completed work.
- Verifies and follows up on customer accounts, to ensure that payments take place within an acceptable time frame.
- For warranty work, follows the appropriate procedures.
- Ensures that the appropriate safety equipment is available and that it is being used when required.
- Prepares and manages the annual operating budget of the Collision center.
- Implements a dynamic marketing plan, with the aim of increasing sales.
- Knowledge and experience with understanding MPI’S report card and direct estimating process.
- Examines damaged vehicles to determine the degree of structural and mechanical damage, as well as damage to the bodywork and the insides of the vehicles.
- Evaluates the cost of labour and parts to repair or replace each damaged part.
- Weighs the feasibility of repairs against the replacement of parts such as bumpers, fenders and doors.
- Evaluates the cost of repainting undamaged vehicles (retail repairs), converting them to specific uses or customizing them.

**Education and Experience**:

- Previous management experience in an Body Shop required.

**Technical Skills**:

- Proficient in CRM vehicle sales software.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrate a high degree of accuracy, sound business judgment and attention to detail.
- Ability to identify and resolve issues effectively and efficiently.
- Knowledge of rules surrounding confidentiality, information governance and data protection.
- Excellent organizational and realistic time management skills.
- Clear, concise and professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Driver’s license in good standing and clean driver’s abstract required.
